lille—design in an association governed by the French law of 1901. Created in 2011, it is composed of a steering committee, an administrative board, and a technical team. The lille-design administrative board is composed of 10 members, persons of note chosen for their skills or initiatives in favor of design, as well as 2 ex-officio members: Lille European Metropolis (MEL) and the Hauts-de-France region, both founding members and historical funders of the association. The board meets 3 to 4 times a year.
Since June 2017, lille—design is chaired by Philippe Remignon, President of the Executive Board of Vilogia. Colette Vanhoye-Huvenne, the former chairperson, is now Honorary Chairperson.
